Having always loved to sing, I knew I wanted to be a singer right from the word go. It’s the typical story: in the early stages I’d spend hours with my hair-brush belting out the latest hits for an audience that usually consisted of my mum and the dog. I listened endlessly to Mariah and Whitney, transfixed by their voices and lyrics, but what really grabbed me was how music could take you to another place, and how every song I listened to seemed to be about my life. I guess that’s why most people fall in love with music - it speaks to you in a way nothing else can.
Over the past six months, I have been working with the talents of some great musicians and a fantastic producer to record my songs. We all met on the local music scene and recorded the songs in a small studio and my back room, so I hope you enjoy what you hear! This is just the beginning for me and I’d like you to be part of it.
